Home Care Package Subsidy Annual Amounts

Everyone’s care needs are different, which is why Home Care Packages (HCP) are designed to provide tailored support based on individual requirements. There are four levels of Home Care Packages, each with different funding amounts to assist older Australians in living safely and independently at home.

This entry-level package provides support for those requiring minimal assistance, such as help with cleaning, meal preparation, and basic personal care.

A Level 2 package offers more support, including personal care, transport assistance, and some nursing services for those with moderate needs.

For individuals with more complex care requirements, Level 3 funding enables greater access to nursing, allied health services, and in-home assistance.

The highest level of care is for those with significant health concerns who require ongoing support, such as daily nursing care, dementia care, and mobility assistance.

Choosing the right Home Care Package ensures individuals receive the appropriate level of care to maintain their independence and well-being.
